Osten joins the global trend of buildings conceived through sensory experiences, shaped by their atmosphere and active amenity offerings.

The OSTEN concept is the result of a creative process aimed at developing an aesthetic rooted in Art Deco and the beginning of the modern era, reinterpreted through a contemporary perspective. The presence of scaffolding acts as the support of an era that could no longer sustain itself. The essential characteristic of scaffolding systems is ultimately the temporary nature of their use, and it is this idea of “temporality” that defines the end of that era of elegance and excess.

At Osten Tower, we propose a sensory, sexy, and authentic experience. The space reveals itself step by step, as compartmentalization forms part of the proposal. We pass through veils and continuously discover new surprises.

Modernity is represented mainly through the interior skin, built with cementitious panels and marble arranged in different areas. These marble slabs are placed between the scaffolding structures, exploring the relationship between elegance and the provisional. Carrara and Verde Bosque marble panels are organized linearly and held in an almost weightless manner.

The challenge on the rooftop is to introduce daytime life and a connection with the outside world into the already suggestive, warm, and nocturnal atmosphere of Osten Bar. For this reason, the proposal incorporates nature as an integral element. Mostly native vegetation creates a sustainable landscape. The exterior proposes a topographic promenade that reveals, "step by step," the same essence as the entrance hall of Osten Bar.

The rooftop façade is formed by a sequence of multiple porticos and repeated canopies that recall a language widely used at the entrances of Art Deco and Art Nouveau buildings.

The pool is designed with a clear reference to a “garden pond.” Once again, we propose a naturalistic vision from another era, recreated through a pool that reinterprets these traditional garden ponds.

Through the temporality of the scaffolding, the overall intervention reflects the turning point in the evolution from Art Deco toward the new modern aesthetic order.
