Designing workspaces for the fintech universe involves translating a complex digital ecosystem into architecture: speed and technological innovation coexisting with solidity and institutional support. In the case of IOL (Invertir Online), a key company within Grupo Supervielle, the project called for a tectonic identity that reflected its leadership and dynamism. With this premise, its new offices were developed on the 23rd floor of the QIUB building in Palermo. The first design decision was to avoid fragmenting the urban landscape. A functional “pod” was conceived: a compact central core that concentrates the fixed, technical, and service functions. This operation frees the building perimeter and allows all occupied workstations to face the glazed façade, ensuring natural light and democratizing city views. From this central core, the perimeter space is organized fluidly and divided according to different modes of use: operational areas designed to enhance acoustic and lighting comfort; collaborative areas intended for exchange and different types of meetings; and a breakout area positioned at the end of the radial circulation. The material proposal seeks a sober and warm expression that conveys IOL’s solidity. The contrast between the tectonic opacity of the central block and the permeability of the operational areas creates a continuous visual balance, consolidating an efficient, flexible, and transparent workspace.
