The project developed for Indus Parquet, a Brazilian company specialized in the production and installation of wooden flooring with more than 80 years of experience, emerges as an architectural interpretation of the brand’s values of sustainability, traceability, and connection with nature. Located in the Núñez neighborhood, the flagship store proposes an immersive experience where wood is expressed in its purest and most essential state. Inspired by the controlled planting and harvesting processes carried out by the company in Brazil, the project incorporates a narrative associated with forest landscapes and the organic origin of the raw material.
The architectural proposal is structured through an orthogonal composition of exposed natural logs, used as façade elements, cladding, and to shape the exterior access. Inside, a sinuous and non-linear circulation, inspired by the experience of moving through a forest, connects the exhibition, service, and material exploration areas.
The central axis of the project is defined by a series of floor-to-ceiling pivoting structures displaying more than forty varieties of wood and finishes. A “creative table” encourages collaboration between professionals, clients, and brand consultants. The journey culminates on an upper level dedicated to meetings, events, and gastronomic experiences, integrating a landscaped terrace, designer furniture, custom pieces, specialized lighting, and artworks that complete an experience where architecture, landscape, art, and materiality operate as a unified narrative system.
